The Hinduphobial reaches Western institutions
Concordia University in Canada has been accused of promoting Hinduphobia after hosting an event that labeled Hindu Canadians as "Hindutva fascists" and barred Hindu students from attending. The event, held on the eve of India's Independence Day, further fueled concerns about the university's role in fostering anti-Hindu sentiments.
This incident follows a similar event in 2021, where speakers equated Hinduism with "Hindutva" and called for its dismantling. Students and community members are calling for a thorough investigation and action against the university's alleged promotion of Hinduphobia.
