Pakistan mulls banning ex-PM Khan's PTI party

Information Minister Atta Tarar said Monday lawmakers would discuss banning former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), days after a ruling deemed the PTI eligible for seats reserved for women and minorities.


Tarar claims the country can't move forward while the PTI exists, and says the cabinet may turn to the Supreme Court to push the motion through if necessary.
