Landed in Italy to take part in the G7 Summit.

The group of seven nations wrapped up their first day of meetings in Italy. The summit was dominated by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and efforts to support the embattled nation. Leaders agreed on a framework for a 50 billion dollar loan for Ukraine, utilities interest generated from Frozen Russian assets held by G7 nations. 


The India Looking forward to engaging in productive discussions with world leaders. Together, we aim to address global challenges and foster international cooperation for a brighter future.




Had an excellent meeting with President Emmanuel Macron. This is our fourth meeting in one year, indicating the priority we accord to strong India-French ties. Our talks covered numerous subjects such as defence, security, technology, AI, Blue Economy and more. We also discussed how to encourage innovation and research among the youth. PM Narendra Modi conveyed my best wishes to him on the hosting of the Paris Olympics, which begins next month.




It was a delight to meet PM Rishi Sunak in Italy. I reiterated my commitment to further strengthen the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the third term of the NDA Government. There is great scope to deepen ties in sectors like semiconductors, technology and trade. We also talked about further cementing ties in the defence sector.




Had a very productive meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky. India is eager to further cement bilateral relations with Ukraine. Regarding the ongoing hostilities, reiterated that India believes in a human-centric approach and believes that the way to peace is through dialogue and diplomacy.




Italian present, Sergio Mattarella hosted G7 leaders for a seafront gala dinner in Italy's Brindisi on June 13. Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni was also present at the dinner. From US President Biden to Sunak, Italian PM Giorgia Meloni welcomed world leaders for the G7 Summit The leaders from the Group of Seven (G7) major democracies arrived in the Italian town of borgo Egnazia in the southern region of Puglia on 13 for the annual summit.

The Reasi Terror Attack

  J&K: On the Reasi terror attack , SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma says, "The militants fired upon the bus yesterday... 9 people are reportedly dead and 33 were injured and are being treated in different hospitals. As per eyewitnesses, 2 (terrorists) were there. Combing operation is underway in the area. 5 teams have been formed to search in the area."  The terrorists opened fire on a bus with Hindu pilgrims from the Shivkhoda temple in Kashmir. The driver lost control and the bus rolled down a gorge, Many wounded are in critical condition. Now India should respond in the same language that Pakistan understands.  First of all, the terrorists shot the driver in the forehead from the front, after which the bus fell into the ditch. After that, the terrorists kept firing intermittently for about an hour. The Bus full of Pilgrims were followed by a Jeep just before firing in Reasi.
